Urban Alchemy is located in the budding Downtown Division St. area of Arlington, Texas. It is surrounded by artistic vibes, with many of the new (Downtown Arlington Murals Project) murals within walking distance. Other nearby businesses include: Twisted Root, Truth Vinyl, Legal Draft Beer Co., Division Brewing, and Mellow Mushroom.

Urban Alchemy is a perfect addition to any afternoon’s plans, a great place to start a Saturday morning, or to simply crank in a few hours of work. The shop hosts events every week and certainly loves seeing members of the community come together!

The staff is so kind and helpful, but leaves you be if you’re trying to work on your laptop, conduct a meeting, or write a blog post.

We enjoy meeting clients and partners here for coffee because of its ambiance. Inside, there is a bar, some tables for meetings, and a few couches to lounge on. In the back of the shop is a room full of local artists’ works and plenty of seating. I like to go to the back room to get some work done when I’m under a time crunch, since it is a bit more private and quieter.

There is an outside patio area complete with overhead string lights, plenty of table seating, and lots of room to enjoy some drinks and snacks with friends. Though the patio is uncovered, and could use a bit more greenery, the overall atmosphere is nice, clean, and enjoyable.
